CBMT Approved Providers offering Specialty CMTE Courses
Due to recent NBCC policy changes, the reciprocal agreement between NBCC and CBMT will end on May 1, 2015. The CBMT Pre-approved courses that occur on or after May 1, 2015, will not be pre-approved through NBCC. If CBMT Approved Providers intend to offer courses approved by NBCC after May 1, 2015, the Approved Provider must utilize the NBCC process for Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) status. At that time, a new ACEP number will be assigned to the provider. The new NBCC Continuing Education Provider Policy and the application for ACEP can be found at www.nbcc.org.
NBCC will continue to honor pre-approved CBMT courses that occurred through April 30, 2015. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes Approved Providers. The CEC thanks you for your continued commitment to quality continuing education for music therapists.
